In 2021, we introduced the Backyard Ultra Series concept to SA. 

Over the year, this unique trail running experience has grown with more runners participating and running further then they thought possible. With "Just One More Lap" being repeated in your mind, the support you get from your family and friends and the encouragement you get from other runners - this is a race not to be missed.

​

Each venue is unique, with different challenges, elevation, conditions which makes the Backyard Ultra Series an exciting series to be part of. So if you are looking at doing your first half, full, ultra or crazy distance marathon, then the Backyard Ultra Series gives you the chance to push yourself for "Just One More Lap".

Entries close on the Thursday before the race.

Late entries are available on the day but do not qualify for an athlete bag.

 

REGISTRATION - BRIEFING - START

Registration will take place at the venue on the morning of the race.

RACE VILLAGE

Participants are allowed to setup their gazebos and tents on the Friday before the race.

Some venues will have shower facilities and toilets.

Free coffee and tea will also be available for supporters and participants.

WATER POINTS AND NUTRITION

There are no water point on the route and participants are required to carry everything they need for each lap.

32Gi will be providing those last minute grab-n-go items at the starting coral.
