The 2022 Backyard Ultra 'South Africa' Series finishes at Leeuwenkloof,
This 700ha privately owned farm situated about 7km South of the Hartbeespoort Dam, in the Broederstroom area and has a unique mix of grassy savannah bushveld, green valleys, indigenous forest, cliffs and rocky mountainous terrain creating a varying trail run.
Keep an eye out for the roaming game and wildlife which can ideally be observed in the early morning or afternoon.
After an incredible finish to the 2021 series, this is another perfect location to complete the 2022 series.

The route is also supporter and spectator friendly with a portion of the route can be seen from the Start / Finish area.
The Start / Finish area is situated right next to an open field which allows athletes to be able to set up their gazebos / tents close at hand.
