RHINO RUN & AWARENESS FESTIVAL
#RUNFORARHINO
SATURDAY 24TH SEPTEMBER
The Rhino Run is about raising money for a good cause - our Rhinos.
World Rhino Day is marked every year on 22 September to create awareness about the different kinds of Rhinoceros species, as well as the dangers they face. Over time, rhinos have become critically endangered in the wild as people kill them for their horns, and sadly their species is on the verge of going extinct, unless something is done to save them.
Rhino Race & Awareness Festival (RRAF) is a trail run, food, and beer festival that takes place on the iconic weekend of the 24th of September - Heritage weekend. It aims to build awareness about the plight of our rhinos, encourage conservation and create an opportunity to support change through your entry fee. A portion of the entry-fee proceeds will go towards the Junior Honorary Rangers (JHR) and Rhino Adoption program, supporting the efforts of those who protect, assist, and rehabilitate rhinos.
Come join us for a fun day out, while also supporting a very worthy cause!
