The Ledlenser 24/12 MTB Challenge is back and will take place at Taroko Trail Park in Modderfontein Reserve! With scenic trails, challenging routes, camping facilities, entertainment and one of the best family and team building MTB events in Gauteng, the 24/12 MTB Challenge has everything you would expect from an endurance event.
Riders can enter as a SOLO rider or in TEAMS of ‘2 or 4’ riders. With 4 race options to choose from, there is something for everybody. Day riders can enter the quick 3-Hour race or try the slightly longer 6-Hour race. For those keen on pushing themselves, enter the 12-Hour challenge or go all out on the 24-Hour race.
The person / team who completes the most laps - wins.
If you want to be the best, sleep is strictly out the question.
The 24 / 12 is open to all skill levels and ages. Single-track and jeep-track sections will keep riders busy throughout the race while camp fires, local food marker with live music will entertain you, your supporters and fellow riders.

Rider requirements
Each rider must have the following items with / near them:

You are responsible for your own lighting for both your bike and Campsite
Race Village - Camping Area
Dedicated camping area for the 12HR and 24HR riders
Bike Service | Bike Cleaning is available from the Taroko Trails shop
Food | Craft Beer | Coffee can be purchased at from the Fourways Farmers Market
Toilets and showers are available to use during and after your ride
Charging Station for lights and phones at the Race Village.
