THE BEER / GIN MILE 2024
1 MILE | 4 BEERS / 4 GINS | 1 WINNER
It sounds easy, but it isn't!
The beer and gin mile is all about having fun and competing for bragging rights. Running and drinking enthusiasts alike come together to test their fitness levels and stomach capacity in a race to consume four beers or four gins over a distance of 1.6km faster than other competitors. Some do it for the fun and entertainment, for others, this is where all those hours training in the pub count. Or simply take your time and enjoy the company of friends - with some laughs in between.
Gin Mile is presented by Ginologist

HOW DOES IT WORK
The race begins with competitors lined up at the starting line. When you are ready to go, our crew will start the clock and you run 20m to the drinking zone. Here participants will drink the first drink. Once finished, they then run a 400m lap round the pitch and return to the drinking zone and consume the 2nd drink. This is repeated until they cross the finish line and your time is recorded.
