The Cradle Cracker is a 4 Race Series that takes place in the Cradle of Humankind and starts and finishes at the Bothongo Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve. With 5 options to choose from, the Cradle Cracker has something to test all road fitness levels. Whether you completing your first 5KM or going for a personal best marathon time, the Cradle Cracker is for you.

R120 each for group entries of 10 or more irrespective of distance.

Early registration will take place at Decathlon in Bryanston between 09H00 and 10H30 on the Saturday before the race.
Participants who register early will receive a 10% Decathlon discount voucher.
On-the-Day registration will take place at the Bothongo Rhino and Lion Park on race day between 06H00 and 07H45.
Start and Finish will be at the entrance to the Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve.
A Tap-N-Go start approach will be used to spread out runners along the route.

*No late start times will be allowed*
Cut-Off for the race is 11H30
There are several water points on route.
The number of water points and distance between each water point are dependent on your chosen race.
Each water point will have containers with water and 32Gi hydrate.
Ensure you plan your nutritional needs accordingly.
The 28K and 42K route will be reversed for each race.

NB - LITTER FREE RACE - NB
The Cradle Cracker is a LITTER FREE RACE!
This means that there will be no water sachets or cups available at the water points.
Runners are required to bring their own hydration packs, water bladders, containers and water bottles.
Water containers will be available at all water points where you can fill up.
If you do not have a water bottle, you can purchase one during registration or at the venue.
WHAT ELSE IS THERE
32Gi - FINISHERS - RESULTS - PRIZES
32Gi will be looking after you at the finish line.
Decathlon will have a stand there for any race items, water bottles, socks.
Ingrid Corbett and her team will be offering free post run massages.
Each finisher will receive a magnetic Cradle Cracker puzzle medal.
Don't forget to collect your free coffee or beer voucher.
Clubs are welcome to bring their gazebos and make the most of the morning.
Prize giving will be done at 11:00
The results will be published that afternoon.
The female and male winners of each distance will receive a Decathlon voucher.
