The RED2HEAD Swim proves that long-distance doesn’t have to mean intimidating. It is more than just a swim. Taking place in the spectacular Knysna Estuary, this carefully timed swim harnesses the outgoing tide to help swimmers along the route. It’s tough enough to be proud of, achievable enough to enjoy, and finishing it is a feeling you won’t forget.

HOW DOES IT WORK

Choose your distance and starting point:

Red Bridge 10KM | Crabs Creek 7.5KM | Belvidere 5KM.

Registration will take place on Thesen Island between 05H00 and 05H30 on race day.

A shuttle will then leave Thesen Island at 05H30 and take you to your various starting points.

The Red2Head swim will start at 06H00 from the Red Bridge.

Each following starting points will begin their race when the first swimmer from the previous distance comes past that location.
