The Sabie Shufflers Marathon is back!
The little country town of Sabie, nestled in the majestic Drakensberg escarpment mountains of the Mpumalanga province, will once again host the Sabie Shufflers Marathon in 2022. Started in 1980, the Sabie Shufflers Marathon was once a firm favorite on the running calendar with runners coming from far and wide to enjoy the stunning scenery Sabie has to offer.
The Sabie Shufflers Marathon is a mix of road and trail that starts and finishes in the heart of Sabie and takes runners on a journey through the surrounding forest on jeep track and some tar roads.
With 4 routes to choose from, the Sabie Shufflers Marathon offers a variety of distances that cater for most fitness levels.
5KM | 10KM | 21KM | 42KM
A challenging yet beautiful route. Runners will start off at Merry Pebbles, wind their way up through the surrounding forest, before heading back to the finish line.

Registration
Early Registration will take place on Friday at Castle Rock from 16H00 - 18H00.
On-the-Day Registration will take place from 05H30 - 06H50.
At registration, you will be given your Race Number and Timing Wristband.

The 21KM & 42KM will start at 06H45.
The 5KM & 10KM will start at 07H00.
