IMPORTANT ROUTE UPDATE
The JHB Ultra Triathlon is taking place on the same day. Although permission was granted to the Cradle Cracker in January, the JHB Ultra team insisted they wont move their event date. Because of this, the Cradle will be shared between the two events - but kept in separate areas. There are several water points on route and the number of water points, and the distance between each water point, are dependent on your chosen race. Ensure you plan your nutritional needs accordingly.
NB - LITTER FREE RACE - NB
As with all our other events, the Cradle Cracker is a LITTER FREE RACE!
This means that there will be no water sachets or cups available at the water points.
Runners are encouraged to bring their own hydration packs, water bladders, containers and water bottles.
Water containers will be available at all water points where you can fill up.
PRIZES
28KM & 21KM
The winners of the 21km and 28km will receive either a Ghost 16 or Adrenaline GTS 24 valued at R3,049 each.
15KM & 10KM
The winners of the 15KM and 10km will receive an Oofos Recovery Sandals voucher worth R1,099 each.
5KM
The winners of the 5KM will receive a R500 2XU hamper
2ND & 3RD PLACES RUNNERS
32Gi will be giving all 2nd and 3rd placed runners a 32Gi voucher

Jodev Farms will be giving all finishers something special from their farm - season dependent.

32Gi will be looking after you at the water points and at the finish line.

The results will be published the following day.
NON-AFFILIATED RACE
The Cradle Cracker is a non affiliated event that has been approved by the relevant local municipality and all safety and other requirements are in place for the event. Participants do not have to wear their license or run in club colours
MEDALS vs. OUR CHARITY
Help us make a difference in 2025.
Instead of giving medals to all finishers, you can choose to either:
1) Donate the 'medal portion' of your entry fee to our chosen charity for the series, or
2) Request a medal when you enter online.
REFUNDS
Participants are eligible for a refund up to 100% if cancellation occurs at least 7 days before the race.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 6 days of the race.
Transfers between participants are allowed for the same race.
No carry overs are allowed.
