The Cradle Cracker is a three-race road series set in the heart of the Cradle of Humankind, starting and finishing at Jodev Farms, Teak Place Estate, Muldersdrift. Each race runs the route in a different direction, offering a fresh challenge every time. With quiet roads, open countryside and a tough but fair course, it’s a race that puts the focus on the athletes — whether you’re chasing a time or simply testing yourself in a beautiful setting.

NB - LITTER FREE RACE - NB
As with all our other events, the Cradle Cracker is a LITTER FREE RACE!
This means that there will be no water sachets or cups available at the water points.
Water containers will be available at all water points where you can fill up.
Runners are encouraged to bring their own hydration packs, water bladders, containers and water bottles.
RESULTS
The results will be published the following day.
NON-AFFILIATED RACE
The Cradle Cracker is a non affiliated event that has been approved by the relevant local municipality and all safety and other requirements are in place for the event. Participants do not have to wear their license or run in club colours
MEDALS vs. OUR CHARITY
Help us make a difference in 2025.
Instead of giving medals to all finishers, you can choose to either:
1) Donate the 'medal portion' of your entry fee to our chosen charity for the series, or
2) Request a medal when you enter online.
REFUNDS
Participants are eligible for a refund up to 100% if cancellation occurs at least 7 days before the race. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 6 days of the race. Transfers between participants are allowed for the same race. No carry overs are allowed.
